“Henry Fairfield Osborn, president of the American Museum of Natural History, named the Tyrannosaurus Rex in 1905.  The generic name is derived from the Greek words tyrannos, meaning "tyrant" and sauros, meaning "lizard".  Osborn used the Latin word rex, meaning "king", for the specific name. The full binomial therefore translates to "tyrant lizard the king" or "King Tyrant Lizard", emphasizing the animal's size and perceived dominance over other species of the time.”

Presenting a most striking collection of contemporary sculpture.  Emotionally evocative, fiercely modern, yet remaining utterly affordable.

Designed and sculpted in England by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, Edge Sculpture is a collection influenced by style rather than subject.  The mix of form, light and texture gives a unique feel to each individual piece.

Each subject has been originally sculpted from clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel.  We then develop both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture with our special blend of marble stone castings.

The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone’s home!
